The Sleeper Pins

Tyson Allison (guitar, vocals, various other instruments) and the versatile Justin Deleon (drums/percussion/bells) created The Sleeper Pins as a side project while playing in the Minneapolis art-rock band GLISS. They wanted to explore a more basic musical landscape that would focus on lyrics and atmospheric space within songs.

With strong song structure and subtle embellishments they brought to light new tastes and talents within their music. In late 2003, The Sleeper Pins released their first self-titled CD on the local Minnesota label Emperor Penguin Records.

After some diversions, The Sleeper Pins resurfaced in 2008 with new members Aaron Kerr (cello) and Steve Nord (bass, piano, guitar) with a new full sound and a new record, "Keep It Coming Like A Miracle," which will be released on Emperor Penguin Records in July.
