The Everybody Knows You're A Star EP was released to
showcase the quieter side of the band. The EP contains the
largely acoustic tracks, "Five Times" and "Not
Afraid," the instrumental "County Line" and
a 4-track demo from 1998 of the song "Mellow Drunk,"
which the band re-recorded for their second full-length CD
Never Sleep at Night.

Always Be Drunk was recorded over a year and a half
period in both San Francisco and Minneapolis and features
Patrick Hennessy on drums, Jeff
Crandall and Missy
Roback on backing vocals and Aaron
Kerr on cello. Two years after its initial release songs
from Always Be Drunk are still charting on various
radio stations. The song "Everybody Knows You're A Star"
was featured on Heyday Record's Out of the Gate Compilation
(Feb. 2000), while the song "Woke Up on Jupiter"
appears on a recent compilation (June 2002) put together by
Chicago promoter KC St. John. Additionally the CD contains
a cover of "Long Drawn Sunday Night" by Sarah Record's
The Orchids.
