Mellow Drunk is a five piece San Francisco band featuring Leigh Gregory on vocals and guitar, Rick Maymi (ex-Spectrum/ex-smallstone/ex-The Imajinary Friends/ex-co-founding Brian Jonestown Massacre member) on guitar, Daniel Dietrick (ex-Your Precious You) on bass and vocals, Steven Cavorretto (Dora Flood) on keyboards, trumpet and vocals, and Patrick Harte (ex-The Rosemarys) on drums. The band has recently finished their next CD Never Sleep at Night, which is scheduled for release in the fall of 2003. Presently the group is finishing up three new songs that will be featured in the documentary film Haight Ashbury Then and Now. In August 2003 the band will be in the studio working on their next CD. Previously Mellow Drunk has released two CDs, Everybody Knows You're A Star (EP from January 2002) and Always Be Drunk (CD from January 2001), which are available from San Francisco's Green Fuse Records.
